Roxas City is the Capital of the Province of Capiz, located at the Northeastern tip of Panay Island, the Seafood capital of the Philippines. Tourism industry of Roxas City managed to escalate despite of the undying issue about the mythical creature called Aswang. Roxas City is still standing up and continue to arise despite the criticisms and has captured visitors and tourists from different attractions in the city. The Roxas City information center , located right beside the City Hall and Church of Immaculate Concepcion. It was constructed ithe year 2005. Is is a round shape infrastacture where police officers and tour guides are staying to be of service everytime visitors need their assistance. It is agreat help especially during speial occasions and festivities held in the city plaza such as Seafood Festival, Fireworks Display, Live Bands, Dancing Parade, Sports, Games and a lot more.
Balay Kapisnon formerly Roxas Product Display Center has an intention to promote the best of Roxas City and Capiz located beside Rizal Monument facing the Capitol which displays the Capizenos locally-made products, crafts and artworks. The place is occupied by the products like foods and delicacies, printed T-shirts , house decors and many more. There are also flowers, plants and fruit trees in plastic pots outside the Balay Kapisnon.
Those are some of the tourist attactions in Roxas City and there are lots of tourist spots not only in Roxas City but in a the whole province. There are hidden spots that are not yet found like beaches,and resorts. Roxas City will continue to give you as its best and the beutification of the province.
