Roxas City is the Capital of the Province of Capiz, located at the Northeastern tip of Panay Island, the Seafood capital  of the Philippines. Tourism industry of Roxas City managed to escalate despite of the undying issue about the mythical creature called Aswang. Roxas City is still standing up and continue to arise despite the criticisms and has captured visitors and tourists from different attractions in the city. The following are some of the tourist attractions of the city:

     The Roxas City information center   ,  located right beside the City Hall and Church of Immaculate Concepcion. It was constructed ithe year 2005. Is is a round shape infrastacture where police officers and tour guides are staying to be of service everytime visitors need their assistance. It is agreat help especially  during speial occasions and festivities held in the city plaza such as Seafood Festival, Fireworks Display, Live Bands, Dancing Parade, Sports, Games and a lot more.

     Balay Kapisnon formerly Roxas Product Display Center has an intention to promote the best of Roxas City and Capiz located beside Rizal Monument facing the Capitol which displays the Capizenos locally-made products, crafts and artworks. The place is occupied  by the products like  foods and delicacies, printed T-shirts , house decors  and many more. There are also flowers, plants and fruit trees in plastic pots outside the Balay Kapisnon.

     Those are some of the tourist attactions in Roxas City and there are lots of tourist spots not only in Roxas City but in a the whole province. There are hidden spots that  are not yet found like beaches,and resorts. Roxas City will continue to give you as its best and the beutification of the province.

     Aetas or “Itas“ in Hiligaynon dialect are those short, dark skinned, kinky haired and with big black eyes. They came from the  ountains and are astray    in town cause of great poverty they are experiencing  in their place. We often see them around Roxa s City, trying and hoping   for a better future. Everyday is a busy day for them, no missed minutes  to seeking for food, but they end up eating those left over foods from the garbag. No choice at all but to eat those  foods despite their awareness  that it came from a dirty, polluted by dust garbages.

     Aeta’s never care about anything but to survive whatever challenges they might  encounter. As we llok at them staying in a dirty not so comftable places, they seeems so happy of what they are right now despite of having a poor living. They are one good example and inspiration for those who live the way  like them because they  are still happy, enjoying their life regardless their situation in life. In the other hand we still pity those Aeta’s especially the children . While other children are busy going to school everyday, children of Aeta’s are on streets begging for money and some are in the corner glancing at the people passing by. Education is indeed one og the most important need  of a person but not everybody can go to school everyday.

     Aeta’s  are being disregard by people they meet, treating them like different from others  a nd they are taken for granted but still waht they  do is to never mind what others look at them. From the mountain, they have walked a long way to reach Roxas City. All they  want is to be happy and live they way like others in town. They are also human which created  by GOD, whatever you look like, we all made as one. We should  respect, love and accept the Aeta’s despite their situation in life.

     When you are tired and finding some time to relax why not try turning on the radio or play and listen to your favorite song in CD’s. Listening to music is one of the best way to lessen your boredom. When you are alone, tired and heart broken, then seat back and relax while listening to your favorite music. Once you listn to your favorite kind of music you can feel, eventually, those bad feelings and exhaustion will gone.

     Listening to music is one of the most favorite habit of everyone that’s why there are singers with their different music genre. There are lots of singers nowadays and it is always the craze in town. People love to watch singing competition especially on television. Everybody has their favorite singers. We have a favorite music or song because some songs and their lyrics relates to us, especially when you are suffering from pain due to being broken hearted. We are getting emotional when we hear sad songs but we also feel groovy when we hear upbeat and dance music. Everywhere you  go, you’ll hear music from the radio. Singers have a big role in giving beautiful and touching songs that’s why we have our favorite singers. Music is part of our life and it will play forever.

         

                  Not all of us can afford to buy a very expensive thing. Only those who are rich or those who have a better staus in living can buy the a very much expensive things like a brand new car, gold and diamond jewelries or a house as big and as beautiful like a palace. Those things are considered to be their investment and a most valuable thing  because not all can have those things.

                 People are so weird. They dont think  about the price  of that thing as long as they love it and they like it to be in their property, they will buy it whatever happens. But it’s a nice feeling when you see those things because you work hard for it. After a stressful works, finally you can buy all the things you want regardless the expensive price.

                 What about those who can’t afford?  Well, keep on dreaming, aim high and hit the mark. Study and work very hard so that you can also buy what you want. It’s not impossible to fulfill your dreams as long as you believe in your dreams that soon it will came true. Just be patient, time will come that you will progress. Even you don’t have enough money to buy some expensive thing, don’t be so insecure because there’s a time for everything.

         Part of being a child is to play with different toys. Well, a child always get what they want  because if not, parents don’t know how to stop them from crying especially in toys . A toy is a childs plaything and it makes them enjoy their childhood life because they consider them as a friend or playmates. Toys are made for them so that they will not feel bored and it’s a basic way to know the different  things that surrounds them. They start exploring the things of reality from those toys. Like the toy animals, a child will no longer ask what animals is that they see in the zoo or what a dog and a cat looks like.

                 Having a lot of toys satisfies a child, and they have always their favorite one. I am thinking of a toy which I consider to be my favorite childhood toy and it was a set of toy animals. I really love looking at them bacause it was very cute. Everytime I play it I feel like I’m  in a zoo and I’m the one who  is taking care with them, I feed them and I clean their place. Sometimes I talk to my toys that’s why my parents always laugh at me when I did it that way. When I’m away from home. I see to it that I place them where they are safe. Sometimes I place them in a small box or in a small bag. There are times that I’m inviting my friends to meet my toy animals and play with them too.

                  Childhood life is one of the best part of one’s life because it’s the time that we really enjoy our life. playing with your playmates and play with your toys. You can get what you want and parents are always there  to comfort you. Toys are part of our history as a child that is why we should take care of it especially your favorite toy. When you grow old you will remember that as a thing thatt you really enjoy  most during your childhood. You will remember the happiest moments with your playmates.

 United states of America, who doesn’ t know about this place? Washington is its capital and New York is its largest city. U.S.A is known for different aspects, in politics, economics, industries, even sports and in motion pictures. Thuis place is beautiful wherever you look, but it sometimes controversial, but this place  really a good example for other countries for being a progressive country. A lot of beautiful and amazing places will welcome you when you visit the place.

                           I never been to U.S.A and I wish that even for the smallest time I can go there and travel around that place. I really want  to see the different places of America. Everytime I watch on tv and the location is in America, I am amazed and starting to imagine that I am there. Since I was a child I really wanted to go there and make a tour, buy any stuffs, go malling, eat to different restaurants together with my family and friends. That was so exciting. I really love the place even I just saw it on television. One day I just look up in the sky and imagine, like visiting the Hollywood and meet the Hollywood stars like Brad Pitt, Collin Farell, singers like Rihanna, Beyonce, Chris Brown, Ne-yo, David Cook, Pussy Cat Dolls,get some autograph signing and taking pictures with them. I’m dreaming also of watching the NBA games sitting very near to the court. Most of all I want to experience skiing in the snow.

                          I’m wishing to be  in America and it’s not impossible to fulfill that dream. Who knows, I’ll be working in that place after I finish my college. I will keep on dreaming , it’s free to dream, it’s not bad to dream. So if you have your greatest dream, go on and hit the mark.

This is where we spend most of our time with our family and bond together by sending ourselves to a place that will definitely lead us to a nice feeling and satisfaction.                  Have you ever felt so scared when you visit a cemetery? Well whose not, everyone is afraid to visit a cemetery especially when you go there all alone. As we all know a cemetery is a  place where dead people were buried. There are  many stories behind that silent place. So scary! I heard a lot of stories that during twelve midnight, souls  of dead people or ghosts starting to move around the place. It’s up to you when you go to the cemetery during that darkest hours, you will never know, one of the ghosts is with you. Not all of us believe that there are ghosts but many says that ghosts really exist. If ever you will encounter a ghosts, just pray for them even you are already frightened.

                 We are  not force to believe that there are really ghosts but whatever it is, we should not forget to pray for them. Finally, never forget to visit them especially your loved ones who passed away to show that even they are already out of this world, we still remember them and forever they will be a part of our life.

 Nowadays, shopping malls are everywhere. The reason why they establish shopping malls because a lot of peole right now love to go of places where they could find the stuffs they love to buy such as  toys for the kids, groceries, hardwares, cellphones and other gadgets and a whole lot more. most of the necessary things can befound in shopping malls  that’s why many were attracted by malls especially when they offer low prices during special seasons. Most of the malls compete that’s  why they think of ways that will surely patronize their shopping malls.               

                 Shopping malls are not only for shopping but a place for the so-called pasyalan for all ages especially the teenagera. In malls you cna find their restaurants and salons too. Everytime you go shopping you can drop by the salon or in the restaurant because its just a minute away inside the mall. You will no longer go on other far places. It is one of the best places we could spend our time with our loved ones especially during special ocasions susch as birthdays, dating, and christmas day.

                 Shopping malls are everywhere so when you are planning to buy things you mant or you want to roam around places, go to the mall and you will find what you are looking for.

               Schooling is one of te best part in everyone’s life. W egot a chance to meet new people inside or even outside the school. In school, we learn to know the strange things that surrounds us and discover more about our history. Being knowledgeable and responsible are some of the things that a teacher should  share from their experiences. Teachers are responsible for making the students aware of the things we don’t know yet like the things that we are wondering about. Every student has their favorite subject teacher but there are teachers  whom we intimidates.

               I remember when I was just in my elementary level, i really get so intimidated with one of our teacher. Without knowing the reason why I am very afraid during the class, I realize that maybe it’s because the teacher is so strict. i know being strict is one of the ways to discipline the students so that they will study well, do their assignments and to pass the projects on time. it is one of the effective ways so that the students are responsible with their actions. Everytime the teacher shouts out of exasperarion, my heart is starting to beat so fast. Well we deserve that shout because we were  so noisy that reached o the point that we are not already listening. I will never forget that teacher because somehow, being so strict, I learn to be more responsible and I’m happy for it.

               We should always remember that even you are intimidated with your teacher, they only discipline us and making us a better person.  A teacher know what’s best  for us and everytime they shout  please listen to them because it’s hard to be a teacher. They want to get your attention. They prepare their lessons well so we should always listen what they have prepared .
